A 19-year-old girl filed a complaint against her neighbour on Saturday who used to stalk her for a month.
According to the police, the victim was terrified and told her father about the incident who approached the Bapunagar police.
The police said that the victim worked at a factory, while the accused identified as Sailesh Thakor (29), is the neighbour of the victim.
After the complaint was filed, the police arrested the accused from his residence. However, during interrogation, the accused denied the allegations against him.
NK Vyas, PI of Bapunagar police station said, “We have arrested the accused and further investigation is on. During the primary investigation, it was revealed that the accused used to stalk the girl whenever she used to go for work.”
