The Ford Ranger Raptor meets the Toyota Hilux GR Sport, and the Isuzu Arctic D-Max at the Klipbokkop Estate, where they're all exposed to tackle various challenges and obstacles.

All three bakkies have their own set of skills and talents, and none of them backed off when the gauntlet was laid down. If anything, all three vehicles proved to be very capable at what they do.

The Ranger Raptor is powered by a 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine, good for 157kW and 500Nm. The Hilux GR Sport's 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine produces 130kW and 450Nm, and the Arctic AT35 delivers 130kW/380Nm from its 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine.

All three bakkies are mated to automatic gearboxes.
