CPM collects Rs 23.12 crore for flood relief

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM collected Rs 23.12 crore through the ‘bucket collection’ drive, which it had launched for flood relief. The fund was donated to the chief minister’s relief fund.
The ‘bucket collection’ drive was undertaken by the party between August 13 and 15 across the state. It could mobilise Rs 23,12,90,643. Kannur topped the drive with Rs 6,46,42,704 and Pathanamthitta the lowest with the collection of Rs 26,26,077.
