Sharjah aims to attract more Russian tourists

SCTDA 2018 figures show that Russian visitors ranked secodn on the list of the overnight guests in Sharjah at 328,000  while the number of guests from Russia, the Commonwealth and the Baltic region  is also known to show a 41% growth last year as compared to the previous year.

 

 

During the same period the market sharer of Russian visitors went up to 23%.

 

A B2B events will be organised by SCTDA and Air Arabia on September 11, 2019 and the Four Seasons Hotel in Moscow so as to foster new partnerships with key Russian tourism industry stakeholders.

 

 

Through this continuous efforts SCTDA wants to ensure that the emirate is being widely promoted across tourism and travel related events in Russia.

 

‘Sharjah-Unforgettable leisure on two coastlines’ will tell one about the leisure-related activities that will be provided to the tourists and the visitors of all ages.

 

 

An integrated strategy to highlight the emirate’s diverse tourist attractions, family leisure and tourism activities along with world-class facilities.
