Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles might have not earned as well on day one but it has shown potential over the weekend. The movie grew on Saturday, and with more drop for Saaho on Sunday, Chhichhore was ruling at the Box Office.

Shraddha Kapoor-Sushant Singh Rajput starrer grew 70% in collections on Saturday, thus minting Rs. 12 crore. On Sunday, Chhichhore Box Office saw even higher numbers and minted Rs. 16 crore. The total collections of the release are thus Rs. 35 crore net.

The movie fared best in Delhi NCR as compared to Mumbai (which was the expected audience). While Chhichhore minted Rs. 10.25 crore in Mumbai, Delhi and UP collections were Rs. 8.50 crore. The business was not great in some of UP's multiplexes but all over Delhi NCR. Chhichhore furthermore is expected to grow over the week due to partial Moharram holiday.

The weekend collections of Chhichhore thus are in the range of one of 2019's highest-grossing films - De De Pyaar De. The Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu starrer had minted Rs. 34.49 crore on its first weekend release. More so, Chhichhore collections also fall in the category of Varun Dhawan-Anushka Sharma's 2018 release Sui Dhaaga. The movie had earned Rs. 35.23 crore on first weekend.
