AGRA: To ensure transparency, state government has directed development authorities to ensure that processing of applications for approval of building maps are addressed within 30 days of receipt. They have also been directed to stop all offline processing of applications.Now, development authorities will only give approval to building maps following online processing. The state housing department has determined process for applications related to approval of building maps.
Principal secretary, UP government, Deepak Kumar has directed that an applicant seeking approval of building maps should be informed about the status of application.
And any issues related to the approval should be sorted out within 30 days. Concerned officials will be held responsible for any delay.
Kumar has directed that development authorities that do not have an online system for approval of building maps must implement it immediately.
Vice-chairmen of development authorities have been directed to ensure fair and transparent processing of building map approval applications.
Joint secretary of Agra Development Authority Somkamal Sitaram said, “Following the government order, only online applications for approval of building maps will be addressed. All required arrangements will be made to sort out applications in a time-bound manner.”
