MUMBAI: A minor from Nalasopara has been arrested for strangulating a neighbour. The incident was captured on a closed-circuit television camera installed in Dongarpada.
On Thursday, the boy (16) and the victim, Krishna Dalvi (20), were dancing outside a Ganesh pandal. The two got into a fight and the minor pinned Dalvi down on the ground. He reportedly kept strangling Dalvi till the latter became "unconscious". "He thought Dalvi was unconscious and he had won the fight. He got up and moved on," said a cop. But when Dalvi did not get up, other friends rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead.
