17 people arrested for gambling: The Tirupur city police arrested 17 people for involving in gambling and trying to attack police personnel on Saturday night. A police team had found the miscreants engaged in gambling in a private building behind Shanthi Theater on Saturday night. Police seized Rs 67,800 and seven two-wheelers from them. TNN
