Jalaj Saxena added to India A squad for first four-day match against South Africa A

The Blues clinched a 4-1 series unofficial ODI series victory against South Africa A.

Indian all-rounder Jalaj Saxena was added to India A squad for the 4th four-day match against South Africa A.

Saxena will possibly be replacing K Gowtham, who is suffering from sickness and is currently under the care of a medical team of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The India A team comprises Shubman Gill (c), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Anmolpreet Singh, Ricky Bhui, Ankeet Bawne, KS Bharat (wk), K Gowtham, Shahbaz Nadeem, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Tushar Deshpande, Shivam Dube, Vijay Shankar and Jalaj Saxena.

The Blues clinched a 4-1 series unofficial ODI series victory against South Africa A and will be taking them on again in a four-day game of the two-match series in Thiruvananthapuram from tomorrow.
