India's next Moon attempt will be in pact with Japan

While the likely crash landing of Vikram lander is a setback for Isro, the agency is getting ready for another attempt at the Moon. Isro will tie up with Japan's space agency Jaxa for the Lunar Polar Exploration. The mission will likely include bringing back samples from the Moon's polar region. Isro and Jaxa scientists are conducting a feasibility study for this project.The joint Isro-Jaxa Moon mission is likely to be implemented in 2024, after India's proposed human spaceflight mission in 2022.
