A Gold Coast mother was horrified when she found a mystery medication hidden inside a bag of potatoes she had purchased from her local Aldi.
Young mother Tayla Furby found the bright orange pill inside a two kilogram bag of brushed potatoes she had bought from the supermarket in Mudgeeraba.
She bought the bag in the past two weeks and didn't find the mystery pill - believed to be a sleeping pill called Temazepam - until she finished the bag.

Ms Furby took to the Mudgeeraba Community Connect Facebook group to ask for advice about what to do.
'Just finished a bag of Aussie brusged potatoes from Aldi and found this pill at the bottom of the bag,' she wrote.
'I do not have sleeping pills in my home.'
'I feel like someone deliberately put this in at the store thinking it was funny to them but it's certainly not.'
The mother-of-two told the Gold Coast Bulletin she had four potatoes left and found the pill sitting among the dirt at the bottom of the bag.
'I was worried if it had fallen into the floor my 10-month-old could have eaten it as she is putting everything in her mouth at the moment,' Ms Furby said.
She said she was horrified thinking someone may have put the pill in the bag of potatoes as a joke.

'I just wanted people to be aware of it just in case.'
While some were quick to question that it could have been one of her own medication pills that got into the bag, Ms Furby insists she does not have sleeping pills at home.
Aldi has asked Ms Furby to send in both the bag and tablet so they can look into the incident.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Aldi for comment.
