MUMBAI: A day after the city was brought to its knees with 242.2mm of rain recorded in 24 hours, there was some relief for Mumbaikars on Thursday.
The 'orange' alert issued by the IMD of 'heavy to very heavy rain at a few places', was also withdrawn. Mumbai recorded light showers all through Thursday.

What may come as further relief to citizens, is that there is no heavy rain warning for the weekend - IMD has forecast light to moderate rains from Friday to Sunday.
