There is no stopping Steve Smith. He made a double hundred at Old Trafford on the second day of the fourth Test of Ashes 2019 series and overtook Sachin Tendulkar to become the second fastest cricketer to hit 26 tons in its longest format.
Smith reached the milestone in 121 innings, as Hindustan Times points out, while Tendulkar had taken 136 innings.

It was Smith’s third century in four innings this series and his scores are: 144, 142, 92 and 211 at an average of 147.25.
