We’ve seen plenty of low-mileage iconic cars over the past few years popping up for sale, but this has to be the first time we come across a classic Mini with so few miles on it.

This is a 1968 Mk1 Morris Minor-Mini Super De Luxe that has covered just 271 miles since new and features original details like the plastic seat covers it had when it was delivered new more than 50 years ago.

This particular example, one of the last Mk1s built, was delivered in 1968 to Mrs B Jones, who bought the car in order to learn how to drive. Unfortunately, she failed in her endeavor and the car was stored in a garage until it was auctioned by her family a few years ago.

It is believed that this is one of the most original Mk1 Minis in existence, as it preserves the smallest details that are lost with even the most faithful of restorations, like the completely intact door strikers, which were finished in Old English White to match the bodywork and usually chip away with use and the painted screws which are typically prone to rust.

Step inside and you’ll find a completely original Tartan Red interior being as bright as the day the car left the factory, as well as the optional seat belts that were fitted during the vehicle’s pre-delivery service.
