Football tourney commences, 20 teams participate

Ludhiana: District-level football tournament commenced at Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar Ludhiana on Monday. As many as 20 teams from various zones of Ludhiana participated in U-17 and U-19 Girls category. The tournament will conclude on September 5. The tournament commenced under the aegis of Swaranjit Kaur, DEO, Ludhiana and Ajitpal Singh, AEO, Ludhiana. The other distinguished guests present on the occasion were Paramjit Kaur, Convenor, Kulbir Singh, Thakurpreet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Iqbal Singh , Gurmail Singh, Bhupinder Singh, HOD, Physical Education Department, GNPS, Sarabha Nagar.
The teams showed their skills and enthusiasm about the game while trying to outshine each other. The teamwork and coordination of all the teams were evident in the field. Parvinder Kaur, motivated the players.
