The K. Narayana Kurup Commission inquiring into the custodial death of Kolahalamedu resident Rajkumar on June 21 collected evidence at its sitting at the PWD Guest House, Thodupuzha, on Wednesday.
Rajkumar’s wife, his son and mother and co-accused in the money-laundering case Shalini and Manjusha, among others, approached the commission. Mr. Kurup said the second post-mortem report had helped in the probe. He said senior officers who were said to be involved in the case would be summoned, if needed.
This was the second sitting of the commission after the first one at Nedumkandam. One more sitting of the commission would be held at Thodupuzha, he said.
The State government handed over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
