The SRMC police have arrested two suspects who allegedly hurt the pet dog of a juvenile offender.
The police said Venkat, 19, Muthu, 20, and Arun, 20, were involved in snatching mobile phones. On Friday, they went in search of a juvenile associate at his house in Ganapathi Nagar. The juvenile’s grandmother told them that he was not available. Angered over this, one of them inflicted an injury on the dog’s head.
The gang had a dispute in sharing booty. They had visited the house for finishing him off, police said.
