Infinix has launched the Infinix Hot 8 in India. The smartphone has gone on sale through Flipkart. It carries a price tag of Rs 6,999. However, the phone will be available for Rs 7,999 after October 30. The smartphone carries a 90.3 percent screen to body ratio with drop notch display. It has a 5,000mAh battery that gives it a 25-day standby time. Also, the phone has a triple rear camera setup.

The Infinix Hot 8 features a 6.52-inch HD+ display that has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone sports a drop notch design and has a 2.5D curved glass. It runs XOS 5 based on Android 9 Pie. It is powered by the Helio P22 chipset. 

The device has been launched in a single storage variant. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Additionally, there is an option to expand the internal storage by up to 256GB using the available microSD card slot. 

On the optics front, the Infinix Hot 8 sports an AI-based triple rear camera setup: a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor and a third dedicated low light sensor. On the front lies an 8MP selfie camera. 

The Infinix Hot 8 packs a 5000mAh battery. The company claims that Hot 8 can offer a standby time of 25 days. In the sensors department, the Infinix Hot 8 has e G-Sensor, Proximity, Light and Compass. Coming to the connectivity options, it has Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, OTG and FM.

The smartphone is available in four colour options, namely, Quetzal Cyan, Cosmic Purple, Shark Grey and Midnight Black.
