It looks like there is no stopping the Sujeeth directorial Saaho from breaking records every other day. The action-thriller’s Hindi version has minted Rs 93.28 crore so far.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the latest box office figures, “#Saaho collects in double digits on Day 4, aided by #GaneshChaturthi holiday [some parts of #India]… Mass centres strong… Tue-Thu biz crucial… #Saaho Fri 24.40 cr, Sat 25.20 cr, Sun 29.48 cr, Mon 14.20 cr. Saaho makers UV Creations took to Twitter to share the worldwide box office figures of the film. They tweeted, “India’s biggest blockbuster of the year. #Saaho collects whopping 350 Cr+ gross in 5 days worldwide!”

Recently, filmmaker Sujeeth expressed his gratitude to fans for supporting the film and watching it in theatres.

The director posted a lengthy note on his Instagram account which read, “Made my first short film when I was 17 years old. No money, No team but had a lot of support from Orkut and family. I edited, shot and directed 90% of my short films. I learned from my mistakes and criticism was always like an extra boost for my journey. Travelled very long way and faced many hurdles but never gave up. TODAY MANY PEOPLE saw SAAHO – some expected more from it, but many loved it! Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, "#Saaho Hindi crosses the ₹ 100 Cr Nett Mark All-India. Collects around ₹ 8 Cr Nett on Tuesday.. Taking the 5-day total to ₹ 102 Crs. This is the 3rd Hindi movie for #Prabhas in the Prestigious 100 Cr Club after #Baahubali 1 and 2."

Saaho received mixed reviews. The Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta gave it 1.5 stars and called it a 'damp squib.'

Shubhra wrote, "Prabhas is perfectly suited to throwing sharp things at tattooed guys built like trucks, and mowing down a phalanx of heavies without expending too much effort. And he does have an ability to underplay and be droll. What’s also nice is that his distinctly South Indian accent is not hidden in the dubbed version: our heroes are finally pan-Indian. When he is being easy and light are the only watchable moments in this mammoth enterprise. And also when Chunky Panday gets off a few good lines, and delivers them with the ease of a veteran."

"The rest, including the miscast Kapoor as a canny sleuthing cop, go by in a blur. Jackie Shroff is wasted in a brief cameo, and that’s a pity because he brings a loucheness to the table that no one else has," she added.
