Siddaramaiah loses his cool, slaps Congress worker in public

MYSURU: Former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday slapped a party worker outside Mysuru airport.

Naadnally Ravi, a former village panchayat member, faced the wrath of Siddaramaiah when he handed him a cellphone and urged him to answer the call. The infuriated Congress leader promptly landed one on his right cheek and shoved him aside before walking away in a huff. The slapgate video went viral on social media.
Ravi said his 'guru' Siddaramaiah has every right to slap him and he had no qualms about it. However, BJP has asked Siddaramaiah to apologise. The Congress leader arrived was interacting with reporters when the incident took place. Ravi, still smarting from the slap, called Siddaramaiah a paternal figure. "I'm a big follower of Siddaramaiah, and I see no issues in that," he said.
