Mumbai Rains LIVE: IndiGo offers rescheduling/cancellation fee waiver till Sept 5

Live updates of the heavy rainfall in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Red alert has been sounded

    Mithi river have crossed the danger mark earlier today because of the heavy rainfall in Mumbai. BMC has evacuated people living in low-lying areas around the river.

    All trains services between Mumbai and Gujarat stopped due to heavy rains, Skymet Weather has reported.

    Due to MumbaiRains, IndiGo is offering rescheduling/cancellation fee waiver (fare difference, if any is applicable) to passengers traveling to/fro Mumbai till tomorrow Sep 05th, 2019. 

  • Update:

    Intermittent light to moderate rain will continue over Santacruz, Navi Mumbai ,Vasai, Ulhas Nagar, Kalyan, Panvel, Thane and Alibag  during next 2-4 hours. Rain may intensify thereafter. Water logging would disrupt the traffic at many places, Skymet Weather has reported. 

  • Mumbai Metro tweet: Our train services are working from Airport Road to Ghatkopar and from Andheri to Ghatkopar.

  • Western Railway: Provision of space for emergency accommodation for stranded long distance passengers has been made through NDRF at various locations at Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, Bandra, Vile Parle, Santacruz, Goregaon and Andheri.
