Ranu Mondal became a singing sensation overnight after her rendition of Lata Mangeshkar's 'Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai' went viral on social media. Now, speaking on the matter, the ‘Nightingale of Bollywood,’ Lataji, expressed her happiness and reservations about Ranu's newfound success. She said that it's fortunate that her work has benefited someone, but such a success is short-lived in her opinion. Stating that 'imitation is not a reliable and durable companion for success', Lataji said that aspiring singers must be original. After her viral video, Ranu has received much attention and has also recorded few songs with singer Himesh Reshamiya.
