So it makes perfect sense fans of Offspring were whipped into a frenzy when Asher Keddie delivered some long-awaited news on the sudsy, beloved drama.
On Tuesday, Asher, 45, proudly announced on Instagram: 'So thrilled that Offspring is reaching far and wide... Thanks @netflix. Seasons 1-7. Binge!'

The actress - who is mother to sons Valentino, four, and Luca, eight, with husband Vincent Fantauzzo - hashtagged the post 'ninaproudman' with a heart emoji.
The news immediately sent fans into a spin.
None more so than Muriel's Wedding star Rachel Griffiths, who implored Asher to, 'Go global, beautiful!'

In April last year, Asher shot their dreams down when she delivered the bad news that an eighth season is unlikely.
'The truth is I haven’t had a single conversation about [Offspring] since we finished shooting back in May/June last year,' she told the Herald Sun.
Offspring has never been officially cancelled or put on hiatus, leaving many of the show's die-hard fans frustrated.
