Man arrested for brutally killing mother in Kalyan

KALYAN: A 28-year-old man has been arrested for brutally killing his mother in Kalyan on Wednesday evening. The accused Aman Mulla was unhappy over his mother Ruksana Mulla (56) for torturing his wife and sending his wife to her home.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening at Gafoor Palace building situated in Bhoirwadi area in Kalyan (West).
Police said primary probe shows that Aman was unhappy over his mother Ruksana for allegedly torturing his wife and over same issue on Wednesday evening he had dispute with his mother.
Police said during argument accused suddenly started assaulting his mother badly using pressure cooker, umbrella and other hard objects available at home.
Looking at the incident, Aman's elder brother's wife and her two kids present at house fled from house and informed the neighbours who called local Bazarpeth police but till police and neighbours reached the spot, Aman had killed his mother.
Anil Powar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kalyan zone said, "We have arrested the accused for killing his mother and further probe is on".
