FCA India, which makes and sells Fiat and Jeep branded vehicles, among others, has appointed Partha Datta as the new president and managing director. Dr. Datta, a U.S. citizen of Indian origin, had joined FCA in 1999 as an engineer. During his tenure at FCA, Dr. Datta was also the director of technical centres at Chennai and Pune and head of product engineering in China. Dr. Datta succeeds Kevin Flynn who has been appointed to the role of president and chief executive officer at FCA Australia.
