(Express photo: Praveen Khanna)At least two people were killed and two others injured after a truck into an auto-rickshaw and pedestrians on Man Singh Road near India Gate in New Delhi late Monday night. One of the auto-rickshaw drivers is severely injured. A passerby informed the police about the incident who arrested the driver of the truck.
A 42-year-old man and his 8-year-old daughter died in the accident. The truck first hit the divider and then went on to crash into the auto and pedestrians standing near the footpath. The victims were standing near an ice-cream parlour when the truck hit them and three auto-rickshaws on the footpath.
