Apart from minting crores of money at the box office, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho has also been caught in the web of controversies. First, a Bengaluru-based artist named Shilo Shiv Suleman accused the makers of the film of plagiarism. She called them out for creating a rip-off of her art installation named The Burning Man in the new poster of Saaho. She penned a long note and several celebrities also supported the artist.

Now, a French filmmaker named Jérôme Salle took to his Twitter page and called out the makers of Saaho for lifting his whole film Largo Winch and called it a 'free-make'. One of the Twitter users first tweeted to Salle by writing, "@Jerome_Salle Buddy another day and another free make of your Largo winch movie in India #Saaho. you are the real Guruji". To which the filmmaker replied, "I think I have a promising career in India."

Jérôme then tweeted, "It seems this second "freemake" of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly?"

He also wrote, "And as my "Indian career" tweet was, of course, ironic, I'm sorry but I'm not gonna be able to help."
