Ernakulam Rural Police have come up with a short film on traffic awareness.
Led by K. Karthik, Superintendent of Police, Ernakulam Rural, the film was penned and directed by Civil Police officers including Prasad Parappuram, Arun Vishwam, and Rahim Khader.
“The film exhorts the people not to violate traffic rules, besides highlighting the need to ensure safe and secure driving on the roads. It has also provided details of the rules and fine to be paid in case of any violations,” said Mr. Karthik.
The newly amended Motor Vehicles Act has provisions for slapping hefty fine for traffic violations.
