Drunk Chennai man goes to police station to file complaint against ex-girlfriend, slits wrist

CHENNAI: A man, who went to the Maduravoyal police station to lodge a complaint against his ex-girlfriend on Monday, slit his wrist.
Vicky of Kandasamy Nagar in Maduravoyal, who is a bike mechanic, went to the police station in an inebriated condition. He told the police that he wanted file a complaint. The police asked him to wait outside.

While waiting outside, the man slit his wrist with a blade and cried in pain. The police covered the wound with a piece of cloth and inquired. The man told them that his girlfriend had cheated him and he wanted the police to get the Rs 3,000 he had spent on her.
As he was drunk, the police asked him to meet him later with detailed complaint and advised him to go to hospital to treat his wrist injury.
