Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have gripped the entire nation. India is filled with joy and enthusiasm as Lord Ganesha has arrived and will stay for 10 days.
The next of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as Rishi Panchami. It is celebrated on the fifth day in the Shukla paksha in Bhadrapada month of the Hindu Lunar calendar. This year it falls on 3rd September 2019.
Significance
On this day people worship Sapta rishis or Seven Sages including Kashyapa, Atri, Bharadhvaja, Vishvamitra, Gauthama, Jamadagni and Vashishta. Women observe fast on this day to protect their family from all evil and seek blessings of Sapta Rishis.

The shubh puja muhurat starts at 11:24 am and ends at 1:52 pm on September 3. The Panchami tithi begins at 1:54 am on September 3, 2019, and ends on the same day at 11:27 pm.
