Tirupur: Three drunk youths from Odisha were arrested for bestiality near Palladam in the district on Tuesday. P A Kandasamy of Perumagoundapalayam in Kodangipalayam panchayat is a farmer and has a cow for diary purpose. “We all went to bed around 9pm, and when I woke up to attend nature’s call around 2am, I noticed that the cow was missing. I noticed a few people running away from my farm,” Kandasamy said.
“We found the cow in a room where fodder was stored up. With its door locked from inside, we found that a man was hiding inside there,” he said. “When the door was opened, we were shocked to see the cow’s legs and mouth tied and nabbed the man,” he said.
“He was identified as Bobby, 20, of Odisha. He works in a stone crushing unit and few of his co-workers have sexually assaulted the cow. Injuries were inflicted on its back,” he said. The other two were arrested later. They were identified as Raju, 19, and Mangu Singh, 24, who were also from Odisha. All the three were in an inebriated state. The trio was thrashed by the villagers before being taken over by police.
