- The driver was slammed online after many noticed she was driving dangerously
A driver has been slammed for texting and driving as she shared a picture of her new yellow pointed nails from her car.
The motorist posted the picture to a Facebook group this week but forgot to crop out the car's speedometer.
The driver came under fire after Facebook users noticed the speedometer had a reading of almost 60 kilometres or miles per hour when the photo was taken.
Australians who are caught using their phone while driving can receive hefty fines that range between $300 and $400 as well as the loss of several demerit points.

The woman posted a photo her new nails to a Facebook group before many people noticed she was travelling at the time (pictured)
The image showed the woman's pointed nails resting on her car's steering wheel.
She initially denied she had been driving the car and insisted she took the photo while she was parked.
'Why are you driving 55 and taking pictures of your nails?' one Facebook user wrote.
'I'm not lol? Took this the second I got in the car after I got them done,' the woman replied.
'Your car starts at 4K rpms and speedometers stuck at 55? OK,' the person responded.
Several people posted pictures of the speedometer before the woman responded with a rude finger emoji and deleted the post.

Many Facebook users were quick to notice that the woman had actually been driving at more than 80kms and commented screen shots of the woman's speedometer (pictured)
