All the Bollywood stars spotted at the Ambanis' Ganesh Chaturthi 2019 celebrations

On September 2, 2019, Nita and Mukesh Ambani hosted a get-together at their Mumbai home, Antilia, to celebrate the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The celebration, as it always does, brought together some of the Ambanis' closest friends from Bollywood. In attendance this time were Amitabh Bachchan, accompanied by Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Karisma Kapoor with cousin Armaan Jain, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Rekha and Kajol, to name a few. Joining the guest list were Bollywood director Karan Johar, couturier Manish Malhotra, philanthropist Natasha Poonawalla, and cricket favourites including Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan, who were spotted entering Antilia with their families. Antilia gets a festive makeover for Ganesh Chaturthi 2019

No celebration at Antilia is complete without its iconic driveway getting a makeover to match the occasion. Considering this was the first post-wedding Ganpati celebration for both, Akash Ambani and wife Shloka Mehta, and Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, the Ambanis went all-out with their decor. The entrance of Antilia was transformed into a garden with white flowers and lanterns hanging from its ceiling, and gold Om signs taking centre stage. Just like its outside, the inside of the Ambani home was also decorated with flowers in shades of red, yellow and white.

Hosts for the evening, Nita Ambani and daughter Isha Ambani chose coordinated festive looks for Ganesh Chaturthi 2019. While Nita greeted guests in a red and orange Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, Isha went for a deep pink number featuring multicoloured embroidery. Attending the puja, Katrina Kaif and Ileana D'Cruz made their entrances in peach ensembles, while Karisma Kapoor opted for a red and pink sari. Accompanied by beau Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt entered wearing a floral Manish Malhotra sari, while Madhuri Dixit Nene picked a peach version of the festive staple, and Rekha opted for a regal purple Kanjivaram drape. Both Kriti Sanon and Natasha Poonawalla picked sequinned saris by Manish Malhotra for the festivities.
