In 2018, Radhika Madan joined the bandwagon of television actor making her way into Bollywood. She made her debut alongside Sanya Malhotra in Vishal Bhardwaj's Pataakha. The actor was very much appreciated for her role and was even nominated at Zee Cine Awards 2019 for Best Debut Female. This year, she starred opposite Abhimanyu Dassani in sleeper hit film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Radhika also wrapped the shoot of her third Bollywood outing Angrezi Medium in which she plays the role of Irrfan Khan's onscreen daughter.

Earlier it was reported that Sara Ali Khan is likely to star in Angrezi Medium as Irrfan's daughter but then it was announced that it was Radhika who bagged the role. During a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Madan hinted about the same. She stated, "The same thing happened with me. The producer told me I'm giving it to so and so's daughter and I wanted the project. I said you take my audition. Just take my audition I'm not asking for anything else. He agreed, I gave the audition and I got the role."

When the interview quizzed her if she is talking about Angrezi Medium, Radhika replied, "I don’t know."

There was never a confirmation over the fact that Sara was even offered Angrezi Medium, thus this still remains speculative if Radhika was talking about this report or not.

Talking about Angrezi Medium, the film is a sequel to Hindi Medium which starred Irrfan and Saba Qamar. The first instalment was directed by Saket Choudhary, however, Angrezi Medium is helmed by Homi Adajania. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of a cop.
