India defeated West Indies by 257 runs to clinch the second Test match at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
The hosts started day four with eight wickets in hand and did get off to a steady start thanks to Shamarh Brooks and Darren Bravo. However, after facing ten deliveries, Bravo had to walk off the pitch after getting hit by Jasprit Bumrah to the cover for a boundary.
Indian bowlers Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami picked up three wickets each with Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah getting two and one wickets respectively.
With this win, India completed their first clean-sweep in a Test series in the Caribbean.
Taking to Twitter, skipper Virat Kohli expressed his happiness on winning the first series in the Test Championship.
He said, "Feels great to get win our first series in the Test Championship. Thorough performance by the team overall blessed to be a part of this special unit."
