'Safaigiri': Noida Authority's big push for better Swachh ranking

NOIDA: With the aim to improve its ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2020, the Noida Authority continued the second phase of its weekend sanitation drive called 'safaigiri' at sectors 14, 18, 46 and 105 on Sunday.
The drive, which started on August 25 from Sector 51, began on at 7.30am where staff from all departments - water, horticulture, electricity and public health - visited the sectors and took stock of sanitation and other civic issues. They also administered an oath towards cleanliness amongst residents and traders in Sector 18 market.
The drive began from Sector 14 where CEO Ritu Maheshwari led the authority's team and joined residents in the drive.
"We aim to ensure that Noida ranks in top 10 at Swachh Survekshan 2020," said Maheshwari.
