New Delhi: UrbanClap, the online marketplace for local on-demand home services, on Monday announced its launch in Vadodara.
The startup will provide services such as Salon at home, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Home Appliance Repairs, AC Service & Repair, Home Deep Cleaning, Sofa Cleaning and Kitchen Cleaning. This is in line with UrbanClap’s plan to expand its footprint and operations in emerging cities.
Vadodara is the third largest city in Gujarat and has a significant digital user base - making it an important market for UrbanClap. Additionally, it is an important industrial hub of western India and houses several institutions, which, in turn, attract people from other cities of the state and the country. UrbanClap, which also caters to the people who have moved to a new city, sees a huge market for beauty and home services in the city. At the time of launch, UrbanClap will enter the city with more than 40 professionals, the number will gradually increase as the company improves market penetration.
UrbanClap has a strict onboarding process. It includes a thorough background verification process of the professional and a rigorous training module conducted by industry experts with over 10 years’ of experience. The objective is to ensure consistent and high quality of service delivery every time.
