MUMBAI: A 29-year-old man was sentenced to life by the Vasai court for abducting and raping a four-year-old girl in June 2017. Sessions Judge A U Kadam found Ghanshyam Gupta, a resident of Sativli, Vasai (E), guilty.
The girl lived in Gupta's neighbourhood. After the incident, the girl told her mother. A rape case filed and Gupta was arrested. Seven witnesses were examined by the prosecutor. DNA samples taken from the girl matched with Gupta's semen.
