Three men have been stabbed during an incident in Melbourne's north.

The men, aged in their 20s, were on Lorne Street in Lalor when emergency services arrived about 8.30pm on Sunday.

Two of the men were stabbed in the stomach while the third suffered a stab wound to the leg, and the trio was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Police are yet to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the stabbings.
