Why you should NEVER move in next to a bikie: 'Notorious' Instagram gang member's neighbours have their house shot at for the second time in a week

  • Neighbour's home of a former bikie has been shot for a second time this week
  • They believe the shooter was targeting Ben Geppert but got the wrong house
  • The house received five gun shots with the shooter fleeing the scene afterwards

The neighbours of a notorious Instagram bikie gang member have had their home shot at for the second time in a week.

A man and woman awoke to 'multiple' gun shots being fired at their home in Carrara, Queensland, at 4am on Monday.

The attack comes days after the Gold Coast home was shot five times during the early hours of Thursday morning.

A couple living next door to the house believe their property was targeted after they moved into the home of a former Hells Angels bikie Ben Geppert.

A young couple who moved into a house previously owned by Hells Angel's bikie, Ben Geppert, (pictured) have said their neighbour's home was shot at

They had only been living in the residence for two weeks at the time of first incident.

The pair believe the shootings may be related to warfare between the previous owner of the house Geppert, and other motorcycle gang members.

They had only just gone to sleep on Wednesday before they heard a series of gun shots peppering their neighbour's house.

The man initially thought the sounds were someone banging on the door, not realising they were bullets until the police arrived at their door.

'I was s*** scared. I knew they weren't normal sounds,' the woman told The Gold Coast Bulletin.

'We only just moved in. It's been about two weeks now. I've had the worst experience so far. It hasn't been good.'

The pair said they thought rival bikies had mistaken Geppert's house for the one next door and were trying to 'scare' him.

The man said their neighbours weren't harmed but were rattled after the gun shots were fired.

The garage door was open at the time of the gun shots, and the man said he stayed up until the early hours of the morning waiting for someone to come into the house.

The shooter is suspected to have hidden behind a car before fleeing the scene.

Nobody was injured during the shootings.

Police are still investigating whether Geppert was the intended target but currently have no suspects.
