Rlys cancels trains due to a landslide

PUNE: Train services on Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram section have been affected due to the landslide on Jokatte-Mangalore section of Southern Railway on Friday. The Central Railway has cancelled several trains operating from Mumbai via Pune.

The train service will be affected till August 27. On Friday, the Railways had cancelled three trains, similarly, they were forced to cancel three trains on Saturday. 

Train number 12224 Ernakulam-LTT, 22150 Pune-Ernakulam, 16339 Mumbai-Nagercoil, 12202 Kochuveli-LTT will be cancelled on Sunday. Train number 22149 Ernakulam-Pune will be cancelled on August 27. Train number 12619 LTT-Mangalore will be short terminated at Surathkal. Train number 12134 Mangalore junction-Mumbai and 12620 Mangalore-LTT will short originate from Surathkal.

The Railways has diverted 14 trains via Surat-Jalgaon,-Ballarshah-Katpadi-Jolarpettai-Shoranur.
