It’ll Cost You $26k To Make Your Vantage Look Like This, Get An Extra 90 Horses

Startech has released details of their tuning upgrades for the Aston Martin Vantage, which premiered at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

At €7,497 ($8,318) in Germany, the most expensive part is the PowerXtra SP600, which includes a moderately increased boost pressure and an auxiliary control module.

Once installed, it lifts the output of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) and 685 Nm (505 lb-ft) to 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Nought to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) drops by 0.2 seconds, to 3.4, while top speed remains the same at 314 km/h (195 mph).

Going for the restyled front grille with carbon fiber air intakes and a glossy look costs an additional €2,677.50 ($2,971). The carbon fender vents, in the same gloss finish, are €1,808.80 ($2,007), while the rear diffuser, whose shade mimics the rest of the visual add-ons, comes at €2,201.50 ($2,443).

Startech is also offering carbon fiber side mirror caps for €1,188.81 ($1,319) and a reverse/fog light integrated into the diffuser for €1,999.20 ($2,218). The exhaust tips will set you back €4,284 ($4,753), and the 11.5×21-inch Monostar M wheels have a €1,404.20 ($1,558) price tag – but you can go for the 9×21-inch ones that, at €1,178.10 ($1,307), are a bit more affordable.

Add everything up from the Startech’s list and you will see a grand total of €23,061.01 ($25,586 at current exchange rates). That’s definitely pricey for a tuning upgrade, but you have to bear in mind that the new Vantage starts at $150k in the U.S. of A., before options. You wouldn’t expect those mods to cost the same as in, say, a Honda Civic now, would you?
