Report of damage and relief work be furnished to Punjab government on daily basis: DC

Ludhiana, August 25, 2019: The District Administration will assess the damage caused by the floods to the life and property and will furnish detailed report in this regard daily to the Chief Minister Office.
It was disclosed by Pardeep Kumar Agrawal, Deputy Commissioner in a press communiqué released here today. He said that Revenue Officers had also been directed to execute special Girdawari.
Agrawal said that report of the damage to the life and property and the detail of the activities being executed for relief and rehabilitation would be furnished to the Chief Minister’s Office daily on the template circulated by the CMO to all the districts. He said that complying to the CMO’s instructions, he had issued orders to concerned SDMs, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry, Civil Surgeon, District Food and Civil Supplies Controller, Superintending Engineer, PWD & Drainage to collect the date and send immediately to DC office.
The Deputy Commissioner said that CMO has instructed to send data pertaining to affected villages, damaged houses, loss to life and property including livestock, diseases break out, rehabilitation works done, breach occurred in bridges and embankments of rivers and present situation etc.
He said that this data was required to distribute relief material and grant to the affected citizens without any delay. He said that officers had been instructed to send report daily either on email drabranch115@yahoo.com or whatapp number 9417100786.
