Two students from city in top 25

22 students have become company secretaries
Vadodara: Two students from Vadodara region feature in top 25 All India Rank (AIR) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) which declared results of its CS executive and professional programmes on Sunday.
The examinations of the programmes were held in June. Also, 22 students from the city on clearing their professional programme examinations have become company secretaries.
While a girl student, Foram Ajmeri, has bagged AIR seven and topped Vadodara centre in the professional programme (new syllabus) examinations, Rahul Nagpal bagged AIR 20 in the executive programme (old syllabus).
Foram has already completed her bachelor’s in commerce from M S University’s Faculty of Commerce and is now planning a career in corporate world.
“Presently, I am pursuing LLB special degree from MSU’s Faculty of Law. I want to utilize knowledge gained from both the degrees namely CS and LLB during my career in legal department in the corporate world,” said Foram. Her father Jitendra Ajmeri is a civil engineer and works with a private real estate development firm while mother Ila Ajmeri is a primary schoolteacher.

A total of 11 students have cleared module I while two others have cleared module II of the executive programme (new syllabus). Another 18 students have cleared module I while 26 have cleared module II of the executive programme (old syllabus).
In the examinations of the professional programme (new syllabus), three students each have cleared module I and module II while two have cleared module III. At the same time, 28 students have cleared module I, 23 have cleared module II while 35 have cleared module III of professional programme (old syllabus).
