MUMBAI: Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (
MNS) demanded that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office at Ballard Pier should display a
Marathi signboard outside.
MNS vibhag pramukh from South Mumbai, Arvind Gawde, told TOI that every establishment in the city falls under BMC, so the civic body should instruct the
ED office to display the board in Marathi too. Gawde said that he will write to A ward office on Saturday regarding the demand, and will send a copy of the letter to the collector’s office and ED too.
ED officials had on Thursday questioned the MNS chief for over eight hours and may call him again next week to ascertain details of Rs 80 crore received by Matoshree Infrastructure, with which he had been associated with.
