PANAJI: A 19-year-old boy, a native of Odisha, committed suicide on Friday at a central government institute guest house located at Dona Paula.
According to Goa police, the youth had come to Goa to work in a canteen two months back, and was staying at the guest house.
The police said that the boy was working with the contractor who was running the canteen and was staying with his uncle, who was also an employee at the place. The body has been preserved at Goa Medical College(GMC) and Hospital, the police added.
Further investigation is on, police said.
