Baffled social media users have shared the bizarre design flaws they've come across in their day-to-day lives - with some going so far as to brand the blunders 'evil'.
The hilarious oversights were posted to Reddit, where they were enjoyed by the 1.7million members of the C***pyDesign Subreddit.
One user, believed to be from New Zealand, shared a snap of an opaque measuring jug - which would have been totally unable to fulfil its function.
Though some viewers insisted the ceramic jug must be 'novelty', the user claimed he had found the product in the 'housewares' section of a shop, 'next to functional measuring cups'.
Other social media users uncovered bizarre design flaws around their homes, including a light switch installed behind a banister and what appeared to be a power outlet hidden behind a radiator.
Another photograph revealed a baffling set of lift buttons, which began in alphabetical order from A to F, before skipping to M and MZ and ending on 9 and 11.
