An embarrassed Australian woman has shamed her Kmart-obsessed husband on social media for decorating the family's car with fake ivy.
Photos showing the interior of the car decked out wit the plastic plant were anonymously shared to a Facebook roasts page along with a caption explaining how being married to a Kmart fan can sometimes result in some 'unfortunate' choices.
Within moments of posting, hundreds flooded the page to say they were shocked and astounded by the tastelessness of the idea.
However, a few cheeky commenters said they thought the 'hack' was potentially a 'genius' way of keeping kids separated.

This artificial ivy trellis is available from Kmart for $35
'OMG I needed this today! Brenda, you are a genius! The invisible curtain in the car didn't work today to separate me from the bickering kids,' said one.
Another added: Hold up!! If this is so you don't have to look at screaming kids in the backseat then it's genius.'
Many who remarked on the post said while they saw the humour in what the man had done, they had legitimate safety concerns.
'Soooooo .... we don't use rearview mirrors anymore? Who is paying the fine when the coppers pull them up?' Asked one.

A few said while they saw the humour in what the man had done, they had legitimate safety concerns

'I'm guessing the insurance company will have a field day with that claim when the inevitable happens,' said another.
A third chimed in saying she believed the ivy screen illegal because it restricted the back view.
Another joked safety wasn't such a concern because the 'flora' added a touch of zen-like tranquillity.
'As long as you have flora in your vehicle, your zen car will keep you safe.'

A few commenters said they were also worried there was the potential for spiders to make their home in the ivy.
'Now imagine that glorious tingly feeling when a spider comes out of its new home and scurries across his head,' wrote one.
Another added: 'Sure, put a f****** spiders nest in your car. See how that works out for you Mr Brenda.'
