Indian team had another good outing on Day 2 of their lone tour match against West Indies A. Bowlers hunted in packs as West Indies was skittled out for only 181 on day 2. India had declared on day 1 after scoring 297/5. On Day 2, in the second innings, India has only lost one wicket of Mayank Agarwal with Rahane and Hanuma Vihari looking solid. Indians ended the day at 84/1 and are already 200 ahead and have a good chance of forcing a result in this List A match.

For India, Ishant (8-1-21-3), Umesh (10-4-19-3), Kuldeep (9.1-1-35-3) were the pick of the bowlers. However, the lynchpin of Indian bowling, Bumrah had a rare off day and failed to get any breakthroughs. Jadeja and Saini also didn't had anything to show in the wickets column. In the second innings, Agarwal fell cheaply for 13. Rahane who has been struggling for form lately promoted himself to the top of the order and is currently not out of 20 of 96 balls. Vihari though has played in his usual busy fashion scoring 48 of 84 balls.

For West Indies A, opener Kavem Hodge who top-scored with 51 from 100 balls was the only silver spot along with 33 from skipper Jahmar Hamilton.

The first test between India and West Indies start on 22nd August.
