HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police arrested nine persons in connection with the murder of history-sheeter Narsing Dass Goud, a week after the incident. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Balanagar zone, PV Padmaja said that Narsing was killed by accused P Mukesh, Tirumala Rao, Mohammed Nadeem Hussain, Sachin Yadav, Mohammed Kasif Misbha, Shaikh Azar, Dagani Benzmen, Manga Premraj and G Pradeep.
Police investigation revealed that Narsing had in the past threatened to kill Mukesh, who retaliated by joining hands with Tirumala Rao, an associate of history-sheeter Waheed. Tirumala Rao also bore a grudge against the victim.
On August 13, Narsing consumed liquor at Sanathnagar and decided to go to Tukkuguda. The accused attacked Narsingi with daggers and stones as he was stepping out of his father’s house in Sanathnagar. Narsing died on the spot.
Tirumala Rao and Nadeem Hussain were nabbed at Nanganur in Siddipet district, while other accused were held in different parts of the city.
